Tiny Hands, One Earth: Visualization Exercise 

Do you ever feel that this world is filled with unease and fear? You might want to try this practice.

​

Place your hands over your chest and imagine Gaia—the beautiful Earth, our Mother Earth. Now, gently envision your hands becoming very thin, very small, tiny hands, resting behind Gaia, quietly supporting her.

​

Please close your eyes. Slowly look to the left, then to the right. As you look to the left, you see countless tiny hands just like yours. Together, they are supporting Mother Gaia from behind, holding her steady. We are her unseen support. We are her logistics team. We help hold her up.

​

Keeping your eyes closed, now look to the right. There, too, you see countless tiny hands—so many, innumerable—joining you in supporting Mother Gaia’s back. We are her reserve force, always present.

​

Finally, return your gaze to the center. Visualize radiant, glowing Gaia, embraced and supported by countless small hands.

​

To support Gaia is also to support all of us who live upon her.

將你的雙手放在胸前，想像蓋亞，也就是這個漂亮的地球，我們的地球母親。現在你看到你的雙手，變成一個很細很細、很小很小很迷你的雙手，托在蓋亞的後面。請閉上眼睛，往左看、往右看。 當你往左看的時候，你看到無數雙跟你一樣迷你的雙手，跟你一起在托舉住蓋亞母親的後面、托著蓋亞母親。我們是她的背後的支援，我們是她的後勤單位，我們撐住她。 再請你閉著眼睛向右看，你會看到在你的右邊，有無數雙跟你一樣迷你的雙手，無數雙喔，很多很多的迷你雙手一起跟著你，托住蓋亞母親的後背。

最後回到中心，觀想閃閃發光的蓋亞，以及無數托著蓋亞的小手。
